Editor (Final Cut Pro)I am hardworking, punctual, reliable, self-motivated and thrive on film and TV. I am looking to embark on a career in the film industry. I also pride myself on giving anything I can to a film set.
With a breadth of experience and a Masters in Post-production editing and I am looking to widen my media skills base along several if not all different platforms within digital media.
An AD, editor, Assistant Cameraman, Runner and V/O artist.
I have been working within entertainment for over 5 years. I am confident with using both PC and MAC operating systems and FCP studio and Adobe creative suite software.
I have had various roles, which have required me to be flexible and adapt to any changes.
I have worked on pre-production, production and post-production projects.
During pre-production I have acted as an assistant to various directors. I have had to arrange locations, interviews and set design. During production, as an assistant to director in film and documentary I have gained experience in working with several different models of digital camera equipment.
Requisite skills in production are evident within my production work experience in theatre and film production, set design and technical engineering. I have assistant experience in working with several different models of Digital camera equipment including Panasonic HD, Sony PD150/170, Sony Z1, Z7 EX3, EX1 and Mini Sony DV cameras.
In post-production, I have been an assistant editor for documentary, shorts, corporate and other freelance editing projects. General duties included archiving of digital material, capture, logging and organizing sequences of digital footage, and editing original audio-visual content succinctly to deadlines.
I have recently worked freelance with Rob Goodwin founder of Champagne productions in dorset a company that produces corporate and promo, as an AD, Editor and Cameraman.
Also with Caglar Kimyoncu, founder of filmpro a filmmaker who explores and promotes disabled artists who are interested in raising the profile of controversial issues.
I have worked on international documentary projects with director Jonnie Williams. This presented challenges such as unfamiliar language and adverse environments, where diplomacy and good communication skills were crucial in managing environmental cultural relationships and keeping within budget deadlines.
Having worked in contexts where emotional pressure is demanding and communication has been difficult, this has allowed me to maintain relationships within various culturally aware situations and examine different perspectives and acclimatise to a flexible environment.
I am used to the challenges of performance pressures and the effect of my influence on set within group work ethics and my surrounding environment. I believe with commitment high energy and motivation for film, TV and media I can provide a platform for positive and engaging work in collaboration with my peers, colleagues and clients. When attributing ideas, thoughts and criticism I have learnt to be dynamic and tailor any information to the desired party whether client, colleague or member of the public.
